Description

(1) In settings that require frequent replacement of optical components or occasional insertion of reference components into the optical path, for installation components that need to be inserted and removed out of the optical path, using a quick release base can greatly save assembly time. The base has a top plate and a bottom plate that are mechanically connected by locking threads, allowing very high repeatability to install, remove and replace optical components.

(2) The base is designed with a threaded locking mechanism located in the center of the bottom plate. Turn the thumbwheel to fasten the top plate to the bottom plate. Since the locking mechanism is located at the center of the three motion reference points, the locking pressure is applied gradually and evenly, and the three polished steel balls on the bottom plate are aligned with the hardened cones, grooves and planes on the top plate, so the upper and lower plates can be Achieve precise repeat positioning.
