Optical commonly used thread size standard

This is the unique thread of Thorlabs in the United States, not the commonly used optical thread. SM is the code for the thread of the sewing machine in terms of thread expression, but this company in the United States uses it to connect the internal and external threads of the optical lens and the sleeve. The nature of the thread is UNS, and the United States has a special thread with a tolerance accuracy of 2A / 2B. The special place of this thread is 40 teeth per inch regardless of the diameter. A :Lens sleeve is very suitable for building compact optical cage system. The sleeve can be used to mount one or more optics. With our snap ring, we can easily set the depth of the sleeve, thus separating and fixing the optical elements. These stackable lens sleeves are compatible with all diameter (25.4mm) threaded assemblies. Each lens sleeve is attached with a snap ring, or additional snap rings can be purchased to build the system.

B :Multiple sizes available

One end of the sleeve needs to be matched with a snap ring adapter (model: CSK2), compatible with the C-mount adapter (model: C-CSA), can be used to transfer CCD camera interface.
