Description
(1) OOM-L series optical rails are used to construct compact components. The dovetail mounting surface can be installed with our OOP-U series snap-in guide rail slider, and the object can be fixed at any position along the dovetail mounting surface. These guide rails are only 18.1mm wide and the length range is 63.5-600mm. The guide rails have multiple M6 countersunk holes for installation flexibility. The M4 threaded hole at the end of each rail can be used for vertical installation. Rails with a length of more than 300 mm have mounting slots to provide more mounting options.
(2) OOP-U series optical rail slider is designed to install components on our OOM-L series dovetail optical rail. Once attached, these rail sliders can move the optomechanical components at any position along the length of the rail. The surface of the guide rail slider has M4 and M6 threaded holes for installing light-weight optomechanical components.
(3) The design of the slider ensures that it can maintain good lateral alignment when translating along the length of the rail, and can be easily snapped into any existing rail system, without the need for installation from the end of the rail. Comes with 1 M6 countersunk head screw, which can be hidden from the bottom of the slider to install the components. After moving to determine the position, use a hexagonal wrench to tighten the set screw at the end of the slider to lock the position.
(4) The optical guide rail and the guide rail slider can be combined to build a simple version of the XY axis linear motion stage.
