CSL60-M2 is a 60mm cage cube, which can be used to build 2D and 3D cage systems. It can provide a carrier for installing optical components such as beam splitters. The two opposite faces have Ø6mm through holes, while the other four faces have 4-40 screw holes, which can be used to install cage rods. Through holes allow 1D movement of a part of the cage assembly. There are four M4 screw holes on the upper and lower sides of the cube, which are used to connect different accessories. The four internal SM2 threaded ports allow the cube to be integrated with other accessories, such as Ø2" lens tubes; unused ports can be closed with port covers .

Optical commonly used thread size standard
This is the unique thread of Thorlabs in the United States, not the commonly used optical thread. The nature of the thread is UNS, and the United States has a special thread with a tolerance accuracy of 2A / 2B. The special place of this thread is 40 teeth per inch regardless of the diameter. The specific dimensions are as follows:
(1) The threaded aperture on the side of the cube is SM2 (2.035"-40), compatible with standard SM2 internal threaded components; the top/bottom surface is a smooth hole, and the M4 holes on both sides can be fixed to assemble the cube platform or cover. The method of internal installation of optical components such as beam splitters;
(2) Two sides of the cube are machined with Ø6mm through holes for cage poles, and the other four sides have 4-40 screw holes for screwing the cage poles on the cube. The through hole allows the cube to move along the cage pole, and then use the M3 set screw on the cube to lock it;
(3) The cube can be equipped with SM2 threaded cover plates (for the top and bottom surfaces of the cube), a rigid adjustable platform for prisms and beam splitters, and a Ø2 inch optical element mount. These accessories are especially useful for beam splitters in 60mm cage systems;
