Description

(1) The adjustable lens holder is compatible with our 60mm cage system, which is very suitable for installing optical elements of different sizes in general. In addition to the front and back of the clamp arm, with a flat side or V-shaped side, it can also be individually adjusted for unusually shaped optical elements. Optical components or objects can be aligned manually, and then tighten the three thumbscrews in the clamp arm to lock them in place.

(2) The mounting base and the clamp arm have laser marking limits and millimeter scales respectively. These calibration scales and laser marking lines achieve more repeatable positioning, and the auxiliary optical element is centered in the mount.

Note:The scale is for auxiliary positioning reference only, and precise scale positioning is not allowed.

(3) The adjustable diameter lens holder is compatible with Ø16mm-Ø51mm optical components. The thickness of the lens can be clamped, CRD-S2X can be installed theoretically without any requirement for the thickness of the lens, while the CRD-V2X can clamp the thickness of the lens not more than 5mm;

(4) The lens holder has four through holes, compatible with our PCM-S cage pole. Two set screws on each cage rod lock the lens holder in place. The lens holder also has SM2 (2.035"-40) threads, which are compatible with our SM2 lens tubes. An M4 threaded hole at the bottom allows direct mounting to our Ø1/2" post.

Optical commonly used thread size standard

This is the unique thread of Thorlabs in the United States, not the commonly used optical thread. SM is the code for the thread of the sewing machine in terms of thread expression, but this company in the United States uses it to connect the internal and external threads of the optical lens and the sleeve. The nature of the thread is UNS, and the United States has a special thread with a tolerance accuracy of 2A / 2B. The special place of this thread is 40 teeth per inch regardless of the diameter.
